With the grace of God, on Wednesday, 1399/11/07, the main transformer of the DRI unit at Bisotoun Steel Company was inaugurated and commissioned by Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shokri Industrial Group. This transformer, with a voltage conversion ratio of kV20 to V415 and a nominal capacity of KVA5000, was installed in Aban 1398(November 2019) and was put into operation in Bahman 1399 (January/February) conducting relevant startup tests. The use of this transformer enables the electrical panels related to various departments of the production line to be energized, and the installed equipment and cabling to be locally tested at the cold start location. It’s worth mentioning that the total electrical power requirement of the project, amounting to 3500 kilowatts, will be supplied through this transformer. The transformer is installed and operational in the auxiliary building of the CCR complex of the company.
Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri expressed gratitude for the relentless efforts of all personnel, attributing these successes to teamwork and collective efforts. Mr. Motahari Far, the project manager of Bisotoun Steel Company, also emphasized the importance of maintaining this progress through the hard work and dedication of the personnel.
