Jahandar Shokri, representing Bisotoun Iron and Steel Complex in Kermanshah, has been elected as a board member of the Iranian Steel Association. The election took place during the General Assembly held on Thursday at the Homa Hotel in Tehran. Mr. Shokri secured a majority of votes from member companies of the association and was elected as one of the seven members of the board. His election to the board of the Iranian Steel Association comes as Shokri Industrial Group, with its four steel industry plants including iron smelting, rebar rolling, structural steel, and industrial machinery manufacturing, has become one of Iran’s most successful steel complexes. The Iranian Steel Producers Association is the most significant non-governmental organization in the steel industry sector, encompassing all steel producers in Iran.
