This is because the current generation owes a responsibility to future generations. Besides addressing their own needs, it is essential to consider the needs of future generations. <\/p>\n
In this regard, Shokri Industrial Group, which includes factories such as Bisotoun Steel, Jahan Foulad Gharb, Sima Foulad Jahan, and Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, with over 80 years of experience in the industry, has been able to align with its environmental policy and the excellent management commitment to preserve and safeguard social assets. The group has prioritized continuous improvement of environmental conditions. They have undertaken environmental initiatives, pioneering in the country:<\/p>\n
The Bisotoun Complex, as the first steel company, has implemented necessary measures and equipment for environmental preservation even before the start of production and from the beginning of factory construction.<\/p>\n
The Bisotoun Complex has invested significantly in installing a dust collection and exhaust system for its furnaces. This system, designed in the UK by Iranian engineers with consultation from international specialists, collects and prevents emissions of smoke and dust generated during smelting processes, thereby mitigating environmental pollution. The collected dust from this system is reusable in other industries, contributing to waste recycling and preventing environmental contamination, thereby creating added value and income for the province. <\/p>\n

Furthermore, the complex has undertaken effective measures in waste management, recycling, and water management. These include recycling and reuse of wastewater through innovative systems and process management. These initiatives have resulted in a substantial reduction in water consumption, with a significant portion of water needs met through recycling, reducing reliance on freshwater sources. <\/p>\n
In this regard, Shokri Industrial Group has implemented a modern wastewater treatment system with a daily capacity of one hundred cubic meters and a sewage transmission network spanning four kilometers. This initiative required an investment equivalent to one hundred and fifty billion Rials. The engineering, design, assembly, installation, and commissioning of the treatment packages were executed by expert consultants from the knowledge-based company, Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, part of the Shokri Industrial Group. <\/p>\n
The designed wastewater treatment system enables the cultivation of various aquatic species in the outlet pool, facilitating the pumping of treated water into drip irrigation networks for agricultural purposes.<\/p>\n
In addition to these environmental preservation efforts, the Bisotoun Complex has planted and cultivated 13,000 trees to enhance green spaces. It is hoped that industries in the province will adopt systematic and continuous programs for sustainable economic development and environmental conservation, collaborating closely with responsible officials to implement these initiatives effectively.
