During the official visit of His Excellency Dr. Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to Kermanshah Province, His Excellency Dr. Atabak, the Honorable Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, visited the Shokri Industrial Group on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Accompanied by a high-ranking delegation and several national, provincial, and local officials, the Minister conducted an on-site inspection of various production lines including steelmaking, rebar, beam, DRI, and the knowledge-based company Jahan Sanat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n\"Visit<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

MR. Jahandar Shokri, CEO of Bisotoun Steel, part of the Shokri Industrial Group, presented a comprehensive report on the company’s ongoing activities and addressed the concerns and challenges facing industrialists\u2014particularly in the steel sector. The session covered key issues such as energy imbalance (especially in electricity), challenges in securing raw materials, and the need for targeted government support for strategic industries.
Dr. Atabak emphasized the strategic role of the steel industry in the nation\u2019s economic development and pledged to seriously follow up on the issues and decisions raised during the meeting. He expressed hope that the outcomes of this visit would be pursued through effective measures and practical decisions in the near future. <\/p>\n

This visit was also attended by Dr. Bagherkhani, Acting Head of the Provincial Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, Dr. Heydari, the Honorable Governor of Harsin County, the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the region, and other provincial authorities.<\/p>\n
