A portion of the energy from combustion (about 10 percent) was escaping as hot gases through the chimney, which is now the basis for electricity generation. <\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Generating Electricity from Wasted Energy<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the commissioning of the Heat Recovery Power Plant, this wasted energy is used to generate 12 MW of electricity.<br \/>\nThe electricity generated, in addition to supplying a significant portion of the complex&#8217;s needs, can also be injected into the national grid and even adjacent areas in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Technical Details and Electricity Generation Process<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Boiler Structure and Conversion of Thermal Energy to Steam<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The power plant is of the steam type with a boiler. Hot gases exiting the reduction unit at a temperature of about 1000 degrees Celsius cause water to vaporize in the boiler and produce steam.<br \/>\nThe steam, after passing through various stages including the economizer, drum, superheater, and Down Comer, is guided to the turbine at a temperature of 485 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bisotounsteel.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/18.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7614 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/bisotounsteel.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/18.jpg\" alt=\"Electricity Generation by Turbine and Generator\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bisotounsteel.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/18.jpg 640w, https:\/\/bisotounsteel.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/18-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Electricity Generation by Turbine and Generator.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The turbine rotates at a speed of 6052 revolutions per minute and is connected to the generator via a gearbox.<br \/>\nIn this process, the mechanical energy resulting from the turbine&#8217;s rotation is converted into electrical energy.<br \/>\nThe power plant generator produces 12 MW of power at 11 kV voltage.
