According to the Public Relations Office of Shokri Industrial Group, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, a meeting was held to commemorate National Communications and Public Relations Day. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Shokri Industrial Group, CEOs of subsidiary companies, and members of the Public Relations team. The session aimed to acknowledge the key role of public relations and review the latest achievements and developments in this field.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri, Chairman of the Board, congratulated the team on this valuable day and appreciated the tireless efforts of the Public Relations team. He emphasized the fundamental role of this unit in reflecting the group’s achievements and shaping a professional image of the companies in public opinion. He called for continued close cooperation between all group divisions and Public Relations to convey an accurate message and image of the industrial capabilities of the organization to the community.
Then, Mr. Jahandar Shokri, CEO of Bisotoun Steel, praised the dedication and high motivation of the Public Relations team and stressed the necessity of full support from managers, adding:
“Public Relations is not merely an organizational unit, but a shared responsibility for all members of the organization. We all must act as the organization’s reporters, providing timely information to Public Relations.”
Next, Mr. Jahanbin Shokri, CEO of JAHAN SANAT KERMANSHAH known as JSK STEEL, referred to the importance of Public Relations in enhancing the organization’s brand credibility, stating:
“Employees should consider Public Relations as part of their duties and actively participate in information dissemination and documentation.”
Mr. Jahangiri, Senior Advisor to Shokri Industrial Group, also congratulated all knowledgeable and diligent Public Relations professionals on this important day, noting that accurate and organized documentation in Public Relations work is vital and contributes significantly to improving the quality and impact of this field.
Mr. Almasi, CEO of Sima Foulad Jahan, described Public Relations as the communication bridge between the company and the market, emphasizing:
“Accurately conveying customer feedback to the organization is an important duty of Public Relations, which plays a decisive role in improving performance and planning.”
Furthermore, Mr. Ahmadi-Pour, CEO of Jahan Foulad Gharb, while congratulating on this occasion, called for greater attention from managers towards Public Relations and stressed:
“Public Relations is the responsibility of all of us, not just a specific team.”
In another part of the meeting, Ms. Peyvand Shefti, Public Relations Manager of Shokri Industrial Group, presented a report on the unit’s performance, appreciating her colleagues’ relentless efforts, and said:
“Public Relations is the beating heart of communications at Shokri Industrial Group and plays a decisive role in enhancing the brand’s position in domestic and international markets. Relying on creativity, cohesion, and a digital-oriented approach, we have been able to present a true, transparent, and professional image of the group’s activities.”

Ms. Shefti also announced the unveiling of the group’s new logo featuring the Kurdish horse symbolizing the group’s authenticity, dynamism, and native identity. She further mentioned the complete digitalization of Public Relations activities and their documentation in the cloud, which is considered a strategic achievement in line with the group’s digital transformation.
Other important highlights of the meeting included the introduction of the new third edition of the specialized magazine “SteelWorldReview” and the fifteenth issue of the Bisotoun Steel newsletter, which were well received by the managers. Ms. Shefti requested all units to participate more actively in documentation and submission of information to Public Relations.
