At the *Communications Day Commemoration Conference, held on May 23, 2026, at Entezar Hall in Kermanshah, the Governor of Kermanshah, Dr. Manouchehr Habibi, highlighted the vital role of public relations in today’s communication landscape. Describing public relations as the “intelligent guardian of the battle of narratives” and the “strategic think tank” of every organization, he emphasized that timely, accurate, and compelling storytelling is essential to safeguarding public trust—the most valuable form of social capital.
Dr. Habibi further underscored the importance of public relations departments in supporting cultural resilience and strategic communication, particularly in addressing national challenges and strengthening the connection between citizens and public institutions. He characterized public relations as a robust bridge that fosters constructive engagement between society and governance through transparent and effective communication.
