Litter Clean-Up Campaign Held in Kermanshah with Participation of Shokri Industrial Group Executives and Board Members

In line with its social responsibility commitments and with the aim of protecting and preserving the environment, a group of managers, experts, and board members of the Shokri Industrial Group took part in a litter clean-up campaign on 16 Dey 1403 (January 6, 2025). In this program, around 50 managers and staff members attended voluntarily and worked together to help clean up the natural environment.
This initiative—considered one of the Shokri Industrial Group’s ongoing annual environmental actions—was held with the participation of representatives from the Kermanshah Provincial Department of Environmental Protection and Harsin County. The campaign was also attended by Ms. Lida Kalantari, Head of the Office of Public Education and Participation at the Kermanshah Provincial Department of Environmental Protection, and Ms. Veisi, Environmental Supervisor of the Shokri Industrial Group.

The clean-up was carried out along the route from the the Bisotoun–Harsin road corridor toward Harsin County. As part of this environmental effort, approximately 300 kilograms of waste were collected from nature. At the end of the program, the collected waste was delivered to the Kermanshah Municipality for proper and hygienic disposal.

Protecting the environment and conserving natural resources is considered one of the most important social responsibilities of organizations and industries, as environmental health has a direct impact on public health, the quality of life for future generations, and sustainable development. The active participation of managers and employees in such programs—beyond delivering tangible results—also helps promote a culture of responsibility, raise public awareness, and strengthen community engagement in safeguarding nature.
Holding this campaign reflects the Shokri Industrial Group’s commitment to sustainable development, environmental protection, and the promotion of public participation in preserving natural resources.
