As part of the ceremony commemorating Industry and Mine Day in Kermanshah Province, Bisotoun Steel, a member of the Shokri Industrial Group, was recognized and honored as the province’s Model Industrial Unit for 2026.
The ceremony was held on Thursday, September 10, with the participation of Dr. Manouchehr Habibi, Governor of Kermanshah; Dr. Abdolreza Mesri, Representative of Kermanshah Province, Mr. Sahlabadi, President of the Iran House of Industry, Mining and Trade; Engineer Jahanbakhsh Shokri, President of the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade; members of the Kermanshah House of Industry, Mining and Trade Board of Directors; Dr. Rostamzad, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs; representatives of the people of Kermanshah in the Islamic Consultative Assembly; executives of government agencies; labor and employers’ associations; and a number of industrialists and mine operators from the province. The event was held at the conference hall of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
Bisotoun Steel is one of the key links in the Shokri Industrial Group’s steel value chain. Focusing on the production of raw materials and steel products, the company plays an important role in supplying the needs of the group’s rolling mills and completing its integrated steel production chain. The company produces direct reduced iron (DRI) and steel billets and, in addition to structural-grade billets, has the capability to produce alloy steel billets.
Bisotoun Steel uses a direct reduction unit, melting and casting facilities, and specialized steelmaking equipment to carry out part of the production process in-house, from direct reduced iron to steel billets.
The selection of Bisotoun Steel as the province’s Model Industrial Unit for 2026 by the Kermanshah Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization reflects the company’s production capacity, technical capabilities, and strategic position within the steel value chain and the development of the province’s industrial capacity.
During the ceremony, Mr. Ehsan Kiani, CEO of Bisotoun Steel, was also honored with a commemorative statue and certificate of appreciation in recognition of the company’s performance and efforts to expand its industrial and production activities.
This valuable recognition is the result of the efforts of Bisotoun Steel’s management team, engineers, specialists, and employees in expanding production, completing the steel value chain, improving product quality, strengthening domestic manufacturing, and playing an effective role in Kermanshah Province’s industrial sector.
