Bisotoun Steel, by implementing the Kindness Campaign, has taken a new step in the path of social responsibility.

The Head of Environment at Bisotoun Steel announced the launch of an innovative and humanitarian initiative called the Kindness Campaign in this company.

Ms. Zahra Veisi, announcing this news, said:
“This campaign has been designed with the goal of collecting plastic bottle caps and allocating the income generated from their recycling to purchase wheelchairs for those in need. It is being implemented with the support of Shokri Industrial Group and in cooperation with Jahan Foulad Gharb.”

She pointed to the harmful effects of plastic waste on the environment and added:

“Plastics, especially bottle caps, if left in nature, gradually turn into dangerous microplastics; particles that, by entering the food chain of humans and animals, can have destructive effects on the health of living organisms and ecosystems.”

Ms. Veisi emphasized:
“The different material of plastic caps compared to bottles and the difference in their melting temperature prevents simultaneous recycling of these components in a single process. Therefore, proper separation of them is a fundamental prerequisite for successful recycling.”

The Head of Environment at Bisotoun Steel, referring to the role of employees in achieving the goals of this plan, stated:

“All colleagues in the complexes of Bisotoun Steel and Jahan Foulad Gharb can, by delivering their used bottle caps to the designated stations at the entrances of these companies, play an effective role in reducing plastic pollution and supporting people with disabilities.”

She concluded:

“This small but impactful action is aligned with the social and environmental responsibility of Shokri Industrial Group and shows that with a simple move, we can take a big step toward building a cleaner and kinder future.”
